Ceci N'est pas une Pipe

The Subterranean Traveller Presents Peter Palmboom

If a pipe is not a pipe when it isn't called a pipe, even if it looks like a pipe, and anything can be a pipe as long as it is called a pipe, doesn't matter what it looks like, then the attacks in Paris on 13 November were a terrorist act only because they were swiftly called one by authorities, yet for no other reason, since they looked anything but a terrorist act.

Most terrorist acts take place in poor countries and are often quite crude affairs. People blow themselves up amidst a busy market, they drive a truck laden with explosives and gasoline into a busy market or they target foreign army units with homemade roadside bombs, preferably in the vicinity of a busy market. The last example strictly spoken is not an act of terrorism, rather of justified resistance against alien intruders, yet it is often called terrorism by the intruding force attacked and as such presented to world opinion. The two recent Paris terrorist attacks, on the Charlie Hebdo editorial offices on 7.1 and on a number of targets on 13.11, were of a strikingly different nature. They were apparently carefully planned and executed with cold-blooded professionalism, though in both cases somebody was stupid enough to bring their passport and conveniently leave it somewhere to be found by the police, dramatically accelerating the forensic research into the origins and background of the suspects. It is not uncommon that so-called acts of terrorism which are in fact something completely different, are resolved within a couple of hours after their execution. Real acts of terror usually never get solved or at best years later, when one of the perpetrators accidentally gets arrested for speeding or having forgotten to pay a tax bill or something, and then starts spilling the beans. When striking in the west, the terrorists which are terrorists because they are called terrorists usually target lower and mid income areas, leaving the affluent zones in peace. This is a distinct feature of terrorism worldwide, it's the poor taking the hit. It's as if those so-called terrorists think: the rich may pay me some money one day.
Another characteristic of terrorist acts which only look like terrorist acts but are in fact something else, is that nobody gets to see the culprits' faces, even though they more often were supposed to be shot on the spot. Their bodies are quietly removed from the crime scene and no journalist ever is given permission to photograph and publish the faces, a gesture which would of course greatly help their speedy identification. If it weren't for the lone survivor, always the one to drops his passport by the way, there wouldn't be a single name to offer to the frightened public.

Talking about the lone survivor, in case of a terrorist act which isn't a terrorist act but is merely called as such, it is very important to let the survivor escape and then chase him or her for as long as reasonably possible, passing through as many residential areas as one can find. Showing the meek public the brute force of police, that's what those seeming terrorist acts are all about. In Paris the government managed to pass a law extending the maximum term for martial law from two weeks to three months, with further extensions already under consideration. France has effectively become a police state overnight. The once proud only true republic of Europe, whose people one day had the guts to do to their arrogant elites what every people the world over dream of doing, is now turning into the old continent's first fully operational orwellian nightmare, with permission of Ukraine. Congrats.

As any good terrorist act which in reality isn't a terrorist act at all, Paris 13.11 created a couple of spin-offs to further convey the message that the days of prosperity and human rights are definitely over between Tarifa and Hammerfest. There was the story of Hamza the suicide bomber who almost killed herself and then totally killed herself and finally hadn't killed herself at all and who turned out to be Hamza for the sole reason of being called Hamza, as her photo in fact was the face of a young Moroccan woman who suddenly found herself portrayed as an apparently dangerous criminal. With half the police force of Europe chasing you, these kind of mistakes which can only be considered mistakes because they are called mistakes but which are in fact random choices, are no fun to live with. Luckily she had the nerve to come out and turn herself into a news story before anyone could touch her. A decent apology and some left over bail-out money for damages incurred would be in order here.

Meanwhile, there was the utterly over the top shut down of Brussels, a three day dress rehearsal for worrying times to come. I hear the people took it with calm, which is always good thinking, but they must feel the force of Europe in their midst. All around police are more auspicious and eager to misinterpret the law on you. Strictly business, we tell each other, they need to make the extra buck on lost income tax, with austerity strangling us and all, but we fear to believe there's a darker motive, that one day the force will turn against its original peasantry with the same brutal anarchy of omnipresent violence it has shown the later incorporations, sooner to be expelled in the quietly unfolding last days of consumerism, all in perfect reverse history, like a flower at dusk closing its petals, returning the empire to its original size.
Time used to solidify to a certain extent, with nature taking it easy to all creatures' silent content. All were around for their chip off eternity, taking some with you for the next time round. Now time is any time it says it is, with a growing sense of imminent danger. Once the race to the bottom sets in, one feels, there's only speeding up loss.

So, who killed the people at the concert after all, not the band by the way? The men in black, of course, hired guns most likely, in a foreign set up so as not to upset the home front, all local response therefore natural, if kept away from the facts. Their deaths were faked or only reported, nobody was ever going to see faces. All political leaders were in the know, every one of them ready with a new package of unlawful legislation, to be implemented before people had even grasped the whole story, the exterior motives that is, while surely none of them had anything to do with the careful personality planning involved. See how mean they are, those terrorists, they had it all worked out. They celebrate their victories with needless sacrifice. I mean, we get it by now, no need to keep slaughtering us, it's becoming mere sadism.
It's a sad world in which nothing is allowed to be what it seems. There's only confusing and lying, a concentration game for commodities, no serious collaboration of any kind. That's not a scheme in which we quietly take care of Earth the way she needs it most.

Amidst all this madness I have written a novel around flight MH17. Psyop describes how the downing of the plane over Ukraine on 17.7 was carefully crafted to fit a narrative, the badly needed separation between Europe and Russia. The script concentrates on the live news desk Dutch Television offered from the first rumour of a crash onwards, the platform where most of the lie would have to be spun from. Psyop is purely based on conspiracy literature. Psyop at present is only available in Dutch, but an English version can be presented on request. Xmas break coming up, and all.
